Fleri Care — Designing a Telehealth Platform from the Ground Up.

Background
Fleri is a family care solution for immigrants in the diaspora, helping them take better care of their loved ones overseas by eliminating money transfers.
Fleri does this by enabling immigrants to provide quality healthcare for dependent loved ones back home through a dedicated family care manager, an assigned primary care doctor and unlimited care coordination.
Fleri also connects immigrants to trusted healthcare providers in their home countries, making pre-payments where needed so you never have to send a cash transfer ever again.
The Problem
To design a user-friendly platform that allows immigrants to provide and manage healthcare for their families abroad, without having to send money, that also connects them to trusted providers and care managers through a secure, seamless digital experience.

Pencil Sketches
My favourite part of the design process — here I'm able to ideate and bring to life, in rough form, the inspiration I get from the user flows and existing solutions.

High Fidelity Mockups
A blend of colours, fonts, images and illustrations — the pencil sketches come to life here.

More User Research and Usability Testing
The fast paced nature of the work did not leave enough room to validate all design decisions with users. This led to low engagement on the platform and a need for physical touch points to get users onboarded, instead of organic adoption. This hindered the growth of the product and business as a whole. The lesson is to never underestimate the value of users and their needs. Without them, the business does not exist. Without user input, the product will fail.
